Accu Swing Drill
1. Hold the Accu Swing Swing Trainer off the ground 6” at address.
2. Swing the Accu Swing Swing Trainer ahead of the ball 18” to get it started, and then make your backswing.
3. Hold the Accu Swing Swing Trainer at the top of your backswing for a couple of seconds to feel it in balance.
4. From the top, swing the Accu Swing Swing Trainer through to your finish focusing on staying in balance facing the target.
5. At Home: Repeat the Accu Swing Drill 10 to 15 times a day, 3 to 4 times a week.
6. On The Driving Range: Follow the Accu Swing Drill by making 5 practice swings, and then hit 5 balls with your 5-iron or driver. Repeat alternating swinging the Accu Swing 5 times with hitting 5 balls with your 5-iron or driver throughout your practice session.
7. Prior To Playing: Follow the Accu Swing Drill 10 to 15 times prior to playing your next round of golf to warm-up for the round.
Advanced Drills
Swing Away Drill 1. Hold the Accu Swing Swing Trainer off the ground 6” at address.
2. Swing the Accu Swing Swing Trainer ahead of the ball 18” to get it started, and then make your backswing.
3. Hold the Accu Swing Swing Trainer at the top of your backswing for a couple of seconds to feel it in balance.
Shift Drill
1. Swing the Accu Swing Swing Trainer to the top of your backswing.
2. Feel the weight on the inside of your right foot against a braced and flexed right leg.
3. Shift your weight off of your right foot towards the left and as you do turn your shoulders and the club will drop down along the proper swing path to a point where your hands are a little above your waist. As you do this, maintain the angles in your wrists to ensure all of the power you have is stored up.
4. Swing the club back to the top from this point and repeat #3.
5. Repeat this over and over to ingrain a feel for the proper weight shifting in the downswing and the movement of the club coming down the proper swing plane.
Fire Drill
1. Follow the Swing Away Drill to the top of your backswing.
2. Follow the Shift Drill to a point where the hands are a little above your waist.
3. From this point, 1) Turn your left hip, 2) Flatten you left wrist and 3) Straighten your right arm swinging the club down to impact. The club face will be square at impact and your arms will be extended and you will be cleared out of the way to ensure the ball flies straight down your target line.
Full Swing Drill
1. Follow the Swing Away Drill to the top of your backswing.
2. Follow the Shift Drill and Fire Drill to impact and on into your finish.
3. Focus on finishing in balance facing the target.
